Android is able to run on iPhone 3G too

Remember a few weeks ago, when David "planetbeing" Wang member of the iPhone Dev Team, ported the Android to the iPhone 2G. He one-upped that by now porting the Android OS to the iPhone 3G.


Most of the functions and features are retained but the browser's functions according the "planetbeing". "It doesn't work completely smoothly, but it works rather well," he said. Also, the audio has yet to be ported into the Linux kernel.

The ported OS will be ready in a few days, as the final build in getting packed. In the meantime, watch the tech demo.
