HTC announces Legend, RM 1,999

• The HTC Legend will be the few handsets sporting the new 2.1 Android, the device sports a 3.2 AMOLED capacitive screen, with 320 x 480 HVGA resolution. There’s also an optical joystick as to navigate the screen.

• There’s a Qualcomm 600 MHz processor, with 512 ROM and 384 RAM with quad-band GSM and dual-band 7.2 HSDPA. The device also supports GPRS/EDGE and Wi-Fi. Other features include, GPS, Google Maps and HTC footprints geotagging software.

• There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack and it supports Bluetooth 2.1. There’s also a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and flash.

• The Legend is now available in Malaysia for RM 1,999 and the retail package will come with a 2GB microSD card.
