HTC HD Mini and Smart available for RM 1,799 and RM 799

  • HTC also announced the HD Mini, a compact version of the HD2, armed with Windows Mobile 6.5. The HTC Sense UI is also designed on top of WinMO. There’s a 3.2 capacitive touchscreen, and a Qualcomm 600 MHz processor, with 512 ROM and 384 RAM with quad-band GSM and dual-band 7.2 HSDPA. The device also supports GPRS/EDGE and Wi-Fi. Other features include GPS, and HTC footprints geotagging software.
  • Expect a 5.0 meagapixel camera with autofocus, and a whole bunch of social networking apps. Windows marketplace is also supported, so you can purchase additional apps.

  • Meanwhile, the affordable HTC Smart uses Qualcomm’s Brew MP OS, there’s also HTC Sense in there. There’s 2.8 inch resistive touchscreen, with quad-band GSM connectivity and 3.6 HSDPA. There’s also a 3.0 megapixel camera with fixed focus and flashlight. And there are applications such as Facebook, Weather, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Both phones are available now in Malaysia. The HTC HD Mini and Smart are available for RM 1,799 and RM 799, respectively.
