Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type Mobile Phone

• Nokia announced its all-new super slim X3-02 Touch and Type mobile phone. Unlike the X3 slider, the new device is bar-type phone with both a touchscreen and traditional 12 button phone keypad. The new X3 is Nokia‘s first Touch and Type device, allowing users to tap quickly on the bright color touch screen, as well as enjoy the familiarity of the full keypad for quick fire text messages and phone calls.

• Nokia X3-02 features a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with video recording, FM tuner, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. The phone supports 3G/HSPA mobile network and WiFi connectivity.Running the S40 OS, the X3-02 comes with built-in Communities app that keeps you up-to-date with Twitter and Facebook. It measures just 9.6mm thick and comes with a brushed aluminum finish.

• The Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type comes in black, white, blue, purple and pink. It will be released later for Euro 125.

Cincinnati Bell Motorola XT720 Android Smartphone

• Cincinnati Bell has brought Motorola’s Milestone XT720 Android smartphone to the America. The regional operator offers the phone at $199, after rabates and discount with a 2-year contract.

• The Milestone XT720, as reported before, is one of the slimmest 8 Megapixel Android phone. It features a 3.7-inch 480×854 capacitive touchscreen, CrystalTalk for background noise cancellation and better voice quality, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g, HDMI output, DLNA support, built-in GPS, 3 axis Accelerometer, and proximity sensor. It’s camera sports auto focus, Xenon flash and 720p HD video recording.

• The XT720 is powered by a TI OMAP3440 720Mhz with 256MB RAM and 512MB flash memory. It comes with a 8GB microSD card. The phone supports 1700/2100MHz 3G and quad-band GSM /EDGE networks.

• Verizon Wireless and Motorola will release the DROID 2 R2-D2 STAR WARS Empire Strikes Back Special Edition smartphone on 30 September, as the poster above shown. This special edition DROID 2 has a R2-D2-inspired casing.

• This R2-D2 DROID will have same features as the DROID 2, which packs a 3.7-inch 480×854 touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 8GB internal memory, 5 Megpaixel camera with dual LED flash and video recording, built-in aGPS/GPS with Google Maps Navigation, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi connectivity. It runs Android 2.2 Froyo.

• As reported few month before, Dell is planning a Android smartphone called Thunder. Now, it looks like the phone is pretty close to launch.engadget has posted a video of the phone while AndroidSPIN also shows us some live shots.

• The Dell Thunder sports a 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 8Megapixel camera with flash and 720p video recording. If info leaked in April is real, the phone is getting the 1GHz SnapDragon processor.
