HTC Eris Droid to surface with a 5MP Camera and WiFi

• The fact that the Droid will be an entire family from Big Red is no secret, but the fact remains that the Motorola Droid has been hogging all the limelight. No one is talking about the HTC Eris which will be the second handset belonging to the Verizon Droid lineage.
• Speculations are rife that Eris will probably be priced at $99 and it will come with a modest 528MHz Qualcomm CPU. Also, the November 6 release date and the Android 1.6 existence are not confirmed pieces of information.

• Gladly, there is something which is confirmed about the HTC Eris, thanks to some leaked HTC documents tracked by PhoneArena. The HTC Eris will surface with a 5 Megapixel camera assisted with the auto-focus technology on the rear, it will be WiFi integrated and just like its cousin Hero, it will sport no chin. What comes across as a surprise is that the Eris will surface without a flash assisting the camera.
